Karaka secluded house for 5 people is built in a fenced olive grove and thanks to grown olive trees it offers real privacy. The stone house is located on the south side of the island of Pasman and is located right at the sea. The beach is accessible from the garden. From the house there is a beautiful view of the Croatian islands, including the islands of Kornati National Park. The sea in the front is crystal clear and the beach is made up of larger stones and largely reinforced concrete pier, which prods you into sunbathing and offers free berth for your boat. If you do not have a boat, we can arrange a motor boat rent on request.At the entrance to the house is a spacious covered terrace with outdoor seating, and the house has an additional room with a big stony grill that will be available.
Throughout your stay, you can enjoy two loungers on the beach. In the garden is an outdoor shower, the shower water is heated by the sun. Every Wednesday and Saturday will be available the landlord that can bring you into the house a variety of foods such as fresh bread, fish, and shellfish if you do not want to go to the city.
Free of charge parking is in the bay of Vitane which is reached comfortably by car. From this bay the landlord will take you and your things by boat right to the house. The parking place is 200m far from the house.
Water in the house is rainwater and collects over the winter in the tank. You can even drink the water, but we usually boil the water. Electricity is obtained through solar panels in the 220 V sockets and can be used only for lighting, charging mobile phones and laptops. Stronger appliances cannot be used (a hair dryer, blender, etc.). The kitchen and bathroom water is heated by solar radiation (when there is not nice weather, the water needs to be heated on the stove).
Pet´s stay is allowed on prior request and for a fee.
The island of Pasman is easily reached by ferry Biograd - Tkon in about 15-20 minutes, the ferry runs several times a day. You can also arrive in Pasman by ferry line Zadar (Gazenica) - Preko (island Ugljan), this line is longer and more expensive, but the ferry runs till late night. The island of Pasman and Ugljan are connected by a bridge in a place called Ždrelac and the transit over the bridge is free.
Near Karaka house are two more houses, which have their own beach and berth. But tall olive trees offer privacy your house, garden, and beach.
Tkon city center is located about 7 km away and there are restaurants, shops, bakery, sweet shop, post office, and port for the ferry. Pharmacy is on the island of Ugljan - in the town of Preko located about 17 km away.
On the island of Pasman are hiking and biking trails which lead, among other things, across the watchtower Straža. The tower offers a beautiful view of the Kornati archipelago and other adjacent islands and towards the mainland you can see the Velebit mountain range.
