Lighthouse Susac
Island Susac | 2 x 4
Accommodation Lighthouse Susac
The island Sušac is surrounded by endless open sea that makes you feel completely secluded from the rest of the world. When seen from distance, it seems as though Susac consists of two islands. Susac lighthouse was built in 1878 on the highest point of the extremely steep southern side of the island, where there are numerous cliffs jetting out of the deep crystal clear sea. The lighthouse Sušac building lies at a height of 100 m and offers views of the endless open sea. The lighthouse is a stone, ground-floor building with two four-bed apartments. There is a berth where smaller boats can be pulled out in the vicinity of the lighthouse. Secluded bays on the eastern, shallow side of the island are ideal for swimming. They are some 30 to 50 minutes walk from the lighthouse. The lighthouse keepers will let you know which well-kept trails will lead you to them. Boat trip to the island of Susac and back, paid separately and for one apartment, price in the price list. Return transfer to island Sušac is charged extra and lasts 35 -45 minutes. We kindly ask all guests to arrange the transfer several days before arrival. Due to islan's distance from the mainland, supplies should be brought along!
