Fisherman's house Farfarikula is located on the islet Farfarikulac in the heart of the bay and the Nature Park Telascica on island Dugi otok. The islet was named after the fruit of the Kostela tree or in Dalmatia called Fafarikula, which has a small round fruit of exactly the same shape as Fafarikulac. Dugi otok can be reached in Brbinj by ferry from the Port of Gazenica in Zadar. From Brbinj by car or taxi you need about 20 minutes to the other end of the island, to the town of Sali where you will find grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, post office, ATM. A boat with small motor, which takes you to your destination after a 10-minute drive, is waiting for you in Podugopolje Bay, where you can park your car. Robinson house Fafarikula is located on the northwest side of the islet, surrounded by olive trees and other various Mediterranean plants. The cottage has recently been completely renovated and offers accommodation for 4-6 people. Electricity is supplied by solar panels (220 W) and is used exclusively for lighting, charging mobile phones or laptops. It is not possible to use home appliances of higher power. Water is rainwater that collects throughout the year, so it should be used rationally. It is used exclusively for washing, showering and possibly cooking. We recommend buying botteled water for drinking. In front of the house is a large covered terrace with table and benches where you are sure to enjoy summer evenings with sea views and fine barbecue dishes located in the garden. In front of the house is a pier on which a boat with motor (5HP) is moored, which is at your disposal during the entire stay. In case of need or help, in addition to the owner of the house, there are also Rangers of the Nature Park who regularly visit the bay. The islet is covered by a mobile signal.
