Otocac is located in the northwestern part of Lika plateau along the Gacka River. It consists of upper and lower center. The town is located at the intersection of the main road between Senj - Gospic and on the road between Josipdol - Mala Kapela - Krasno - Sveti Juraj.
In January and February in Otocac, its traditional carnivals are also a significant celebration of 20 January. sv Fabian the patron saint of the city and May 8, Otocac Day, when in a place with many sports and cultural accompanying programs.

Sports offer
Otočac is located on the Gacka river, which is one of the world's most famous trout rivers and provides excellent opportunities for fishing. The surrounding mountain region of Lika provides opportunities for quality peaceful recreation. There are many caves in the Velebit mountain range, for example the Bezdanjaca system in the Vatinovac mountain near Vrhovina.
Cultural events and evening life
