Murter - island Murter

Murter is a town on the island of Murter and the administrative center of the whole island, and also the seat of the Kornati National Park.
Other places on the island of Murter are Jezera, Betina and Tisno, which extends partly from the island and partly on land separated by about 20 meters by Murter Channel.
The island is connected to the mainland by a bridge, which regularly rises to sail boats to Tisno. Around Mutera are small islands that are jointly assigned to the Kornati National Park. These islands have rocky and sandy beaches that are suitable for ordinary swimming and diving.
Murter, the largest island in the Sibenik archipelago is known for its beautiful sandy beaches in picturesque bays. The highest peak of the island is Raduc hill with a height of 125 m n.m.
