Island Babac

Croatia, Northern Dalmatia

Island Babac is located 600 meters from the mainland and is accessible only by a boat or a ship from the village of Turanj and nearly the same distance is from the island of Pasman. lsland Babac is the only inhabited island from the islets before the town of Turanj.

The island offers a beautiful view of the mainland towns of Turanj, St. Filip and Jakov and Biograd and the surrounding islands, which are on either side Komornik, Galešnjak and Ričul and in the direction to Biograd islands Planac and St. Katarina.

Babac has many quiet and peaceful coves, which are located around the entire island. The island is also Babac local restaurant Babac tavern, where you can taste home cooking.
